Looking to get the most exposure for his sponsors, Rossi will compete on the West coast throughout the season in the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by IndyCar Series in the Intercontinental A (ICA) division as well as the Western ROK Cup Series. Filling in off weekends with testing, Rossi will also try his hand at several Intercontinental C (ICC) events throughout 2008.

“Competing in ICA is a lifelong dream of mine,” stated Scott Rossi from his British Columbia home. “I am also happy that Vince Mandarino will be on board for the entire year as my tuner and driver coach. I am looking forward to a strong rookie season in the senior classes.”

In 2007, Rossi scored some strong results in his final year of junior which included podiums at the New Castle Motorsports Park event and National Finals held in Las Vegas in the Junior Intercontinental A (JICA) class. The always fast Rossi finished the divisional championship third in the East and sixth in the West and headed to the finale with a strong shot at the national Championship. After some trouble in post race technical inspection for a non performance enhancing intake manifold in Final One on Sunday morning, Rossi bounced back to claim the third and final step of the podium in Final two and secured a seventh place result in the overall point’s battle.

Scott Rossi would like to thank all of his sponsors for their support through 2007 and onwards into 2008. United Rentals of Canada IRRENTS.COM, Remple Bros. Concrete.
