MOTOREX SPONSOR ROTAX
IKD is pleased to announce that MOTOREX has come on board as a sponsor of Formula Rotax in Australia. From 1st February, 2008 each and every Rotax engine sent out by IKD will include a free bottle of MOTOREX RACING 2T SYNTHETIC OIL valued at $39.95 and some MOTOREX stickers.

MOTOREX RACING 2T is officially recommended for the ROTAX MAX ENGINE.

MOTOREX will also be involved in some event sponsorships such as the Australian Championships later in the year.

NEW FEATURES OF THE RANKING SYSTEM
We have made some last minute modifications to the ranking system based on some feedback we have received. These include:-

No minimum number of entries for Formula JMA in 2008 to get points
Number of entries for senior classes to get points has been reduced to 6
Simplified points system
We have added an Over 35’s section so that the ranking system appeals to drivers aged 35 and older

MOJO TYRES
MOJO tyres have arrived into Australia and will be available from your karting dealer within the next days.

Rotax believe strongly that the MOJO D2 tyre will play an important role in the repositioning of Rotax classes in Australia. They are confident that the introduction of MOJO will bring some Rotax karts back onto the track as the tyre will provide more economical and less physically demanding racing.

As part of the approval process for the MOJO tyre the AKA requested IKD to conduct independent testing on the MOJO tyres. IKD are pleased to state that we are very excited by the outcome of our testing with the MOJO tyres showing great durability and repeatability.
