Private Company For Superkarts?

It is looking likely that a private company will take control of promotion and running of Australian superkarting at a national level.

The Superkart Working Group (SWG) has agreed to establish an entity that will take superkarting into the future. This entity will not be affiliated with CAMS and its primary duties will include:

• running of the Australian Superkart Championships (for gearbox and non-Gearbox divisions)
• promotion of superkarting across the nation as well as the championship events
• provide the SWG with suggestions/recommendations regarding technical matters

It is expected each (state) club will nominate a club member to be a representative with the company and as such is possibly going to be a director of the company.
