Hossack Back For E/Creek Superkart Races

Darren Hossack will return to the seat aboard the SAFE 250cc International kart and contest the hgih-profile Superkart races at the V8 round at Eastern Creek next month.

Hossack hasn't driven the kart since the National round at the venue last year, where he finsihed 4th. Since then he's had a few drives in the Audi Sports Sedan, some races in his Midget speedway car and a few days in a sprint kart "to toughen up the body".

"I will be racing the Sports Sedan the week prior so that should get my eye in" the Melbournian explained. "Obviously I am excited that Scott Ellis from SAFE has given me the opportunity to run the kart at such a high profile event which can only have a very positive impact on our sport. We also hope to do the Nationals this year, but that will depend on my other racing duties and my committments as the race manager at DPE."

So far Ellis has sold 9 of his Australian made engine kits, some of which are about to be shipped to the USA - not a bad effort considering the first engine didn't fire a shot until May last year.
