Queensland 24-Hour Race Cancelled

press release

It is with deep regret that ProKart Australia has had to cancel the inaugural Queensland 24 Hour Endurance Kart event that was to be held at the Ipswich Kart Track this Easter Long Weekend.

“Unfortunately the 24 hour Endurance Kart Race has been cancelled due to a lack of teams not confirming their entries in time or unfortunately having to pull out for one reason or another,” stated ProKart Australia event manager Ryan Stott.

“It is simply just not feasible for ProKart Australia to run this weekend’s event with only a small amount of teams. ProKart Australia would sincerely like to apologise to those teams that had booked accommodation and flights, and thank them for their continued support.”

The opening round of the National Championship is now going to be the Port Macquarie ‘6 Hour’ that is to be held on April 19 – 20.
