Adelaide Superkarter For Formula Ford

press release

Adelaide Superkarter Daniel Ramerman will make his Formula Ford debut in the SA State Motor Racing Championships in the Engman Engineering team Van Diemen RF01.  Daniel, who is 18 will contest the four rounds of the SA State Motor Racing Championship whilst also competing this year in his 250cc International at the Adelaide Superkart Club race meetings and the Gearbox Nationals at Eastern Creek and Mallala.

Going into the opening round of the SA State Motor Racing Championship this weekend (April 12 – 13) at Mallala Motor Sport Park, Daniel Ramerman is looking forward to his Formula Ford debut.  Mallala is Ramerman’s home circuit where he has competed since 2004 starting in Junior ROTAX and progressing through Senior ROTAX and the 250 International.  “Its good to make my debut in Formula Ford at Mallala where I have raced Superkarts and have track  knowledge and experience, but I know that there is a big difference between the 250 and the Formula Ford.  I drove the car for the first time at the Mallala practice day last Saturday (April 5).  I acknowledge that there is a big difference between testing and actual racing and I am not looking for a podium finish, I have to learn the characteristics of the car, and there is no pressure from the team to do anything more” commented Ramerman.

Daniel added, “I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Trevor Pound for providing me this opportunity and also thank the team for their support.  They are a very professional team and to have their support is great”.

Daniel receives sponsorship from Auto Clean Products, KC Tools, Rainbow Digital Printing Services and the Gully Meat Service.
