Vic Superkart Series, Round 3

(results amended 9/5/08) The third round of the Victorian Superkart Club's championship series was run at Phillip Island on Saturday, April 26.

Unfortunately, entry numbers dictated the gearbox and non-gearbox karts would be racing together meaning the faster gearbox karts were lapping many of the Maxes late in the race.

Above: With grey clouds and an icy wind blowing in, the field forms up for the start of the fourth heat.

Sharing the circuit with a PIARC Sprint day, time allowed a fourth race to be included in the round's results However, with rain falling on the circuit (it started out dry so all karts were on slicks) the fourth race was red-flagged. As such, results below (based on the first 3 races) are provisional.
