James Greenwood Joins Doyle's Racing

James Greenwood has joined the new Yatala based Doyle’s Racing Clubman Class Kartsport Team. The 20-year old apprentice Electrician will compete for the team commencing with the third round of the South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales Harrington Doyle Gladiators 5 Track Series this weekend.

Greenwood will join current Doyle’s Racing Kartsport drivers - 18 year old David Gledhill and 28 year old Travis Edwards - in the familiar green, blue and white Yamaha powered CRG chassis.

“Having James and his father Gary join our new team will continue the development plans we have” said Team Manager, Craig Doyle.  “It’s important to Dean and I that our karting program at Doyle’s Racing delivers not only high calibre presentation, but creates opportunities for our drivers and builds relationship network paths for our corporate and product partners.  We’re confident that our new partnership with James and Gary will allow us to shift up a gear and move on to delivering the next level of desired outcomes for our new team.”

Having started his karting career in 1998, Greenwood (pictured right) has won many club level meetings in the last 10 years. As an “A” grade licensed driver he qualified 2nd in the 2006 Japan Qualifier for Clubman Light at Eastern Creek. In more recent times he won the 2007 State Closed Titles in Clubman Heavy at Ipswich and the 2008 Clubman Heavy 2 Track Challenge at Rockhampton and Gladstone.

James currently holds 2nd place in Clubman Heavy division of the Harrington Doyle Gladiator Series.

Whilst in the infancy of its existence in Australian Karting, the Yatala based Doyle's Racing outfit is working hard to maximise its ability to capitalise on the many opportunities the sport offers. Doyle's Racing’s involvement in Australian Karting has at its core, the purpose to ensure a marketing campaign that will increase exposure, provide opportunity for client relationship building, open access to valuable new business networks and enable an even more successful business venture.

The newly expanded 3 Kart Team will compete together this weekend at the Gympie Gold Raceway in the Harrington Doyle Gladiators 5 Track Series.
