Pro Moto Joins Raleigh 6-Hour Kart Race

A number of the Pro Moto Series competitors will head north for the very first time to support the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia Endurance Kart Raleigh 6 Hour event at Raleigh International Karting Raceway, near Coffs Harbour, this weekend (May 17 and 18).

The Pro Moto series will be support the ‘Raleigh 6 Hour’ and they will contest three heat races, a pre final, and final on the Saturday only. This is sure going to add yet another dimension to the ProKart Australia events with the inclusion of this motorcycle series. The Pro Moto Series is open for both junior and senior riders and their motorcycle capacity cannot be any higher than 150cc.

Stott strongly believes that having the Pro Moto Series come up to Raleigh International Karting Raceway over the weekend will boost exposure. “This is a great opportunity to gain some great exposure for the Pro Moto Series and grow this exciting motorcycle category,” he said. “So far we have had some close and exciting racing, and with each round we have seen an increase in competitor numbers, and that has been very encouraging.”

The ‘Raleigh 6 Hour’ is to take place at Raleigh International Karting Raceway, which is just off the Pacific Highway on Valery Road, south of Coffs Harbour. Action will begin at 9.30am.
