Mathew Hayes was too strong for local karter Justin Carter in Clubman Light, who threw everything at the Todd Road driver, but it was not enough and although only briefly leading the final, Hayes wrapped up the weekend with that win and the $3,000 cheque, Carter 2nd and Mitchell McLeod third.

Joseph Mawson took out the Junior National Lights with consistency - four 3rd place finishes and a second in the Final. Local Bronson Butcher won the final, while Canberra driver Warren White, who led the class coming into the final, spun in the first turn of the race which set him back to 4th in the points overall.

Max Johnson in Junior National Heavy showed great consistency and speed to finish the weekend as the class champion. Although he was disappointed with a 5th place finish in the final, his 3 wins and a second was enough to hold off the charge from National Champion Garry Jacobson who won the final.

James Hughes enjoyed the overnight break as, after two second placings on Saturday in Rookies, his team tweaked the kart and on Sunday he was unstoppable winning the final heat, Pre Final and Final. Jayden Wallis showed good speed all weekend finishing 2nd overall, while, overnight front runner Liam Morey DNF’d in the Pre-final. Although he finished 2nd in the Final, Morey only had enough points to finish 3rd on the weekend.

In Clubman Heavy, Woolston’s consistency in the heats set up a great battle with Paul Rodger’s in the final. Positions swapped over 10 times in the final and it was Woolston who held on to take the victory in the final and the overall results by just 1 point.
