Monarto Track Update

As most would be aware, we missed the opportunity to lay the bitumen in April after inclement weather undid all the hard work in preparing the surface.

The track has now been re-worked and sealed with a protective coating which we all hope will keep it in a condidtion for laying of the bitumen at the first available date. At the moment we are hoping for rain down in Adelaide which may open an earlier window for laying (up here at the Monarto site) rather than the current September date we have booked.

As far as groundworks:

• The concrete kerbs have been laid and track sealed
• Shed frames are up (thanks to the volunteers)
• Approval to install the septic tanks has been given
• The tyre bundles continue to grow!

We expect these works to be completed shortly. This will allow plumbers and brickies to get on with their volunteer works (thanks guys!).
