Junior MAX Back On Track

press release

At the AKA National Karting Committee conference held in Sydney over the past weekend, a solution for the Junior MAX barrel issue has been determined.

Effective immediately, competitors can take their engines to a certified Rotax engine sealer to have the barrels removed and sent to IKD for replacement.

A form is available from the IKD web site (www.internationalkarting.com.au - direct link to the form HERE) that must be completed and included with every barrel returned to IKD.

Barrels will be replaced and the new barrel sent to the originating engine sealer for reassembly and resealing. There is no cost for the replacement barrel.

IKD applauds the AKA’s decision and joins with them in heralding a new start for the JMAX class.
