Preview: Rnd 9, Saturday Night Series

With the Saturday Night Go Kart Series heating up as the series draws to a close for 2008, the ninth round is to be played out this Saturday night (October 25) at Wollongong City Raceway, near Kembla Grange, on the South Coast of NSW.

Large fields of Junior and Senior drivers make up the Saturday Night Go Kart Series, which has proven to be very popular amongst competitors with its laid back atmosphere, and the action on track is certainly going to be hotly contested throughout.

At the previous round of the Saturday Night Go Kart Series, which was held at Wollongong City Raceway, saw plenty of hard and close racing action from both the Senior and Junior classes and this Saturday night should be no different.

The race format for the Saturday Night Series is practice and qualifying sessions, three heat races, a pre final, and final, and the classes that make up the action are: TAG Heavy, TAG Light, TAG Restricted, Shifter, Senior National Light, Senior J, Juniors, Clubman Heavy, Clubman Light, and Rookie / Midgets.  

Action for the Saturday Night Go Kart Series is set to begin at 2pm and finish up at 9pm.

The Wollongong City Raceway circuit is located on the corner of West Dapto Road and Princes Highway in Kembla Grange.
