Want To Be a Movie Star?

Former kart racer Jason Vince is filming a short film for Tropfest on the 13th & 14th of December at the Toowoomba Kart Track - and he needs karts, drivers and spectators!

"The more people that want to come, the better" Vince informed KartSportNews. "You just need to bring your kart and yourself. We need drivers and spectators."

Tropfest is the world's largest short-film festival. Vince and his team will be shooting all manner of things to produce the short film (no more than seven minutes) which has to encompass this year's festival theme of 'spring' (as in the bouncy things, not the season).

Filming is set to start around 8am on the Saturday. Sunday will be used as a rain back up day.

There will be 3 races filmed, one Rookie race, one Junior race and one Senior race, plus some filming in the pits.
