Brilliant Rookie Season For Todd Hazelwood Racing

Season 2008 has been a highly successful year for the Hazelwood racing team. Todd's first year in bitumen racing has been outstanding to say the least.

Todd competed in 31 race meetings and managed a staggering 13 x 1st, 9 x 2nd and 4 x 3rd podium positions, only missing the podium 5 times. Todd was also successful in winning the Southern Go Kart Club Junior Club Champion trophy and was also presented with the prestigious Kevin Jenner award for 2008 junior rookie of the year.

The Hazelwood Racing Team in 2008 focused on competing in the South Australian Festival State Cup and the Victorian Country series and competed in various club and title events. The Team has been extremely dedicated and travelled many kilometers to many different events and has enjoyed some great success. Major 2008 results as follows:

• 4 Rounds of the Festival State cup: Finished overall 1st
• City of Adelaide title Junior Pro: Finished 1st
• North West Titles Mildura: Finished 1st
• Junior Showdown Mt.Gambier Junior Pro: Finished 1st
• Junior Showdown Mt.Gambier Junior National Light: Finished 2nd
• City of Adelaide Title Junior National Light: Finished 2nd
• South Australian closed State Titles Whyalla: Finished 2nd
• 6 Rounds Victorian Country Series; Finished overall 2nd
• Northern Territory open state Titles Darwin: Finished 3rd
• South Australian Open State Titles Whyalla: Finished 5th

The Hazelwood racing team wishes to acknowledge this year's success would not have been possible if the team didn't have the following support.
