Junior Rotax @ Brian Farley Memorial

The Third Annual Brian Farley Memorial meeting will be held at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway on the weekend of 31st January and 1st February.

Junior Rotax will be one of the feature classes of the weekend, highlighting the massive growth of the class since attaining National Championship status.

“Clearly Junior Rotax is on the rise” said Peter Galvin, President of the North Shore Kart Club. “Our members are telling us that this is a class they want us to support so we will be including Junior Rotax in the club championship this year as well as offering it at the Brian Farley meeting”.

The club will be utilising the 1024m track for the meeting. This is the track used for the 2007 AKA National Championships and will also be used for the 2009 Rotax Nationals in September so the Brian Farley Memorial is an ideal opportunity to sample the track and do a some testing for the big event in September.

POSTSCRIPT: Brian Farley worked tirelessly for karting over a period of many years and was sadly lost to us a few years ago. The Brian Farley Memorial meeting is to celebrate Brian’s life and contribution to karting.
