Yamaha Kills 'J Rumours

There are rumours circulating that Yamaha will be ceasing production of the J engine. 

YAMAHA IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING J ENGINES FOR THE AUSTRALIAN KARTING COMMUNITY.

We can assure you that we have stock of J engines, and that we have orders arriving from Japan every month. 

Yamaha Motor Corporation Japan has given us a GUARANTEE that they will continue to manufacture the J engine for as long as the Australian karter wants it.

Yamaha estimates that there are as many as 10,000 J engines in Australia.  Yamaha will not let these loyal customers down by stopping manufacture of these tried and true engines.

Yamaha has been providing engines for karters all over the world for 30 years.  Everything from the J , S, TAG S (KT100SEC), YZ125 2 stroke and WR250 4 stroke water cooled gearbox engines and the restricted TAG KT100SEC which is used in various junior classes around the world.

Yamaha has no intention of ceasing its Kart engine operations.

Yamaha is proud to be associated with Australian karting for the past 30 years and looks forward to supplying engines for the Australian karter for another 30 years!
