Gee Joins Doyle’s Racing Programme

press release

Doyle’s Racing Kartsport is pleased to announce a further expansion of its Karting involvement in 2009, with Caloundra’s own Mitchell Gee stepping up into two Junior classes of AKA Bitumen Sprint Kart racing.

In 2009, Mitchell will compete in both Junior National Light and Junior National Heavy under the Harrington Doyle Corporate Resources Sports Usage Program.  Both of his Tony Karts will wear the familiar blue / green livery of Doyle’s Racing Kartsport and their associate partners.

With a number of successful results in his last season of Rookies, the ever growing Mitchell has already opened his Junior podiums account with a 1st and 2nd outright in the classes at Toowoomba last weekend.

“It was a terrific birthday present young Mitchell gave his dad Michael on Sunday.  I think it also affirmed for his family that the move to the junior classes was right move.  We certainly look forward to following and again supporting his aspirations this year”, said Team Manager, Craig Doyle.

Mitchell will again this year travel with his family and compete along the Eastern Seaboard, especially looking forward to his National Titles debut in Townsville at Easter and a return to Coffs Harbour to improve upon his 2008 3rd place in “The Yamaha”.
