European CIK Championships In Trouble?

This year's European Super KF and KF1 European Championships appear to be in major trouble. Just 24 drivers have entered for the series which is set to run over three rounds. 'Race-by-race' entries will be accepted for the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

It seem the CIK has re-set the minimum entry level from 25 to 20 to ensure a European SKF/KF1 champion can be crowned. Interestingly, the corresponding KZ2 (gearbox) class has almost 100 drivers entered.

The official word from the CIK can be read HERE.
