Wild Weather At All Star Opener

Above: Mark Domaschenz took an emphatic win in the Formula 100 Final. Domaschenz decided to start the race on slicks while everyone else started on wets. "I made this tactical decision based on my judgment of the track conditions" he informed KartSportNews. "With the wind, I knew that within three laps the track would have a dry line and that slicks would be the most appropriate choice." He was right and was soon on the tyre to have for the conditions. "(But) people did try to talk me out of it." Daniel Richert top-scored the class for the day.
