Superkarts Australia Director Retires

The Board of SKA met in Sydney on March 28th and some items of interest will be found in the Meeting Minutes.

Of those items of importance at the meeting, director Mr. Ron Ping tendered a letter that he was retiring from his Board position. The Chairman and directors thanked Ron for his contribution and considerable efforts during his time as director. His important contribution came at a time of company establishment and was of vital assistance. We all wish Ron well for the future and hope that he continues to enjoy a participation in our sport.

Mr. Clinton Brown from NSW has accepted a nomination to join the company as a director. Clinton has significant experience in Superkart sporting areas, and is widely known by members. Clinton also holds a widely known focus and interest in creating championship and high level racing opportunities for superkarters.

Also at this meeting, Chairman Phil Silcock affirmed his recent notice to the directors of his need to retire from the Chairman role due to his other business and personal commitments. Having discussed the role requirements and current company operational responsibilities, the directors nominated Clinton Brown to assume the role of Chairman. Clinton has accepted the role and the challenge associated, and has indicated an enthusiasm for the growth of our sport.
