Double Challenge At Cooloola

press release

After a great start to the 2009 Inter Club Challenge, competitors are reminded to get ready for Round 2 heading to Cooloola Coast Kart Club in two weeks on 10th May.

The combined Inter City Group Rotax Inter Club Challenge and Gladiators Inter Club Challenge round one event at Warwick attracted 195 entries and organisers are hoping round two at Cooloola is bigger and better.

Cooloola Kart Club is gearing up for a big meeting with ICC entrants seeking competitive racing prior to the upcoming Open State Titles in July.

Cooloola is your last chance to register to take part in the event, with registrations then closed for the rest of the Inter Club Challenge.  Don’t miss out on the fun and action.

Cooloola is followed by the re-scheduled round three event at Lismore to be held on 21st June.  Lismore was washed out and its event has moved to June.

With the inclusion of Rotax Junior Max as a National Title class for 2009, the interest in racing in this class has considerably increased and again, some exciting racing is expected.

Rotax over 35’s has also proven to be a hugely popular class for 2009.

The first annual Gladiators series last year coincided with a resurgence of Clubman racing in South East Queensland.   The continued support by Clubman Light and Heavy entrants into this year’s event again sustains the interest in the sport.
