Beetham Jumps To Top of Gladiator Challenge

After Round 2 of the 2009 Clubman Gladiators 5-Track Inter Club Challenge held at Gympie on Sunday, Doyle's Racing Kartsport CRG driver Robbie Beetham currently sits atop the Clubman Heavy points table as the Series leader.

With strong and consistent results in both Round 1 at Warwick and Round 2 at Gympie, Robbie has accumulated 46 points to lead the Inter Club Challenge ahead of regional Clubman Heavy "gun" drivers Shay Mayes, Andrew Scott, Rodger Korzeniewski and Klinton Hancey.

Robbie's older brother and fellow Doyle's Racing Kartsport CRG driver, Trevor Beetham slipped one place down the Clubman Over 40's points table to be 7th, after a losing a wheel & hub in Sunday's Final at Gympie.

The 2009 Gladiators Clubman 5-Track Inter Club Challenge this year running alongside the 2009 ICG Rotax Inter Club Challenge will continue over the next 3 months and visit Lismore (21 Jun), Toowoomba (19 Jul) and Ipswich (2 Aug).
