Karting Kid Wanted For Sports Dream Program

The call is out to find a star for karting’s place on Disney Channel’s ‘Sports Dreams’.

The show’s producers are searching for a junior karter who is a keen competitor but doesn’t need to be a champion, just passionate about driving with an outgoing and confident personality while dreaming of one day driving in world motorsport at the top level.

At this stage, the selected driver will be required to be available for two days filming on August 28/29 (subject to change), in their home and at a track in (or nearby to) Sydney. They are guaranteed to have a lot of fun (and should be prepared for mini-celebrity status!)

Interested parties need to send a short video to the producers telling them a bit about the potential star. It is IMPORTANT that this video does not have to be slick or polished. The karter doesn’t have to “perform” just simply stand in front of a camera (and with a big smile and loud voice) and provide the following information….

• Your name
• Your age
• Your favourite race
• What makes you a little better than some other driver's your age? (their strength)
• What is one thing you would like to improve upon with your karting?
• Who is your favourite driver and why?

The deadline for entries is Monday June 15, 2009.

To make life easier for everyone there is an online address where you can simply upload your video, straight to the producers!
