Junior MAX Out Of Rotax Enduro

Junior Rotax will not run at Eastern Creek's Rotax Enduro on September 5.

The North Shore Kart Club advised KartSportNews that the J-MAX class will not run because of the lack of interest shown by the drivers & their guardians. This will mean the senior class will get extra practice time.

"We have entries flowing in weekly for the Senoir class but only 1 entry in the Junior ranks. This is why the decision has been made to drop the Juniors from the Enduro. There has been plenty of interest from the Senior interstate drivers. I am expecting over 30 teams"  said club President Peter Galvin.

According to the latest issue of Motorsport News, Matt Wall and Reif Corbett will team together, making an immensely strong combination for the win. Mnews will field their own team of journos (Grant Rowley and Andrew van Leeuwen) while circuit owner Garry Holt will return to the sport, teamed with Adam Pisula aboard a Top Kart.

The race will take place on the longest 1700m version of The Creek and will take place under lights. Competitors will be allocated 2 sets of tyres and have to make 6 compulsory 5 minute pit stops. Nominations close July 31.
