1st Outright Victory For Team5150R

Team5150R secured their first ever outright victory in the Queensland ProKart Endurance Series last weekend and in the process dominated proceedings, beating existing series leader’s Adrenalin Rush Karting by almost 2 laps and setting the fastest lap of the weekend.

Not only did the team enjoy the spoils of an outright victory, the #51 team of Steve Prokop and Allen Jones secured 4th position outright and won the B Division; extending their series points lead and positioning them as favourites to win this year’s B Division Championship.

We’re also in the final stages of planning a “thank you” day for each of you to join us at the South Burnett Kart Hire circuit in Nanango. Alan and Rose Osborne from South Burnett Kart Hire are one of our fantastic team partners and supporters and we would like to show everyone our appreciation by taking you to their sensational facility (probably one of Australia’s best) and have you drive some karts to familiarize yourself with the circuit before having the opportunity to drive our race karts.

In the meantime, the team’s focus is on preparing for and ultimately striving for victory in the 24-hour ProKart Endurance Race at the Willowbank Kart Circuit at Ipswich. The 24 hour event is an incredibly arduous challenge and one we look forward to.
