F100 Heavies & 200 Supers Lining Up for Horsepower Heaven

press release

With Formula 100 Heavy returning to full National Championship status at Horsepower Heaven on October 31, November 1 at GKCV, rumours are circulating about the inclusion of some old and new faces for the big race.

Gary Pegoraro will again suit up for another crack at the event after finishing second behind team mate Dom Albanese at last years race. Other names being linked to a race start are none other than Matthew Wall, who has found it hard to get near the light weight, and former multi national champion Jason Stania.

Even at 170kgs the F100s are still very fast and will produce great racing.  The younger generation of Lachie Frampton, Matthew Mills and Brendon Sarton will be just some of the many drivers striving to become the National Champion.  And let's not forget the veterans like Robert Bourke and Andrew Quinn. Also, former Clubman Heavy driver Cameron Macqueen will be one to watch, making a return to the sport after a three year break.

Additionally, interest in the 200 Supers class is looking awesome for the Horsepower Heaven meeting. A large group of Tasmanians are looking set to journey to Melbourne to take on a group of mainlanders. Karts and motors are being snapped up everywhere in readiness for the event.  Geelong's Dominic Albanese is in the process of building up a twin watercooled beast using a KZ2 chassis modified to take two engines.

One thing is for sure; the first corner is going to be very interesting!
