King Of Sydney, Round 6

press release

King of Sydney Round 6 - sponsored by CRG Kart Centre & Combined Districts Kart Club

Lithgow hosted the final round of King of Sydney on Sunday. The Over 40 J had the biggest field of the day.

After the first heat it was obvious that Wayne Ellis was the man to beat. In fact he won all the races on the day. Brian Sciberras improved during the day and was able to catch Ellis in the final and take the lead but Ellis, with his knowledge of Lithgow, was too good. Further back in the field Glen Egan & Peter Pontello had a great battle all day.

Final Results. Wayne Ellis 1st, Sciberras 2nd, Pontello 3rd, Egan 4th, Thornton 5th.

There were plenty of prizes provided by CRG Race Centre & CDKC at the presentation. Dunlop Kartsport & Yamaha & Pamspix also support the series. A big thanks to all the supporters.

The presentation for the King of Sydney will be held on the 17th October at Eastern Creek on their club day after the race meeting. A great opportunity for the drivers to have a good days racing and then crown the King of Sydney.
