press release

Bronson Butcher had disappointing results at the Rotax Karting Nationals at Eastern Creek Raceway at Sydney on Sept. 24th - 27th.

In only his 6th race for the year and 2nd since returning from racing legend cars in the US, the Holbrook driver struggled to set competitive times in the dusty and windy conditions. "It was also the first event we have raced the new X1 kart so it was always going to be a challenge in such a competitive field. We finished 17 of the 33, but with the times we were acheiving, even that was flattering - more a testament to survival over the weekend." Bronson said.

"On the upside, we are confident we now know where we were lacking, and it was great to see Macauley Jones get 3rd in the final."

In attendance at the event were Petra and Juha of Sportscamera, sponsors of Bronson Butcher Motorsport. "Sportscamera have a wide range of cameras suitable for karting and motorsport and we tried a couple of new ones over this weekend" Bronson stated "With major European karting series wisely making the fitting of such cameras compulsory, there has been quite some interest here this weekend."

Bronson Butcher Motorsport would like to thank CC Racing for the motor and their help over the weekend, and is proudly supported by Kart Equip, Oga Marketing and Design, Churchill Transport, Back Straight Massage and www.sportscamera.com.au
