Format Change, Cash & TV For City of Adelaide Titles

The 2009 Liberty Oils City Of Adelaide Titles will once again be run by the Southern Go Kart Club.

Without a doubt, apart from the South Australian State Titles, it is the premier event on the South Australian Karting calender. It is an event that not only attracts the best teams and drivers from SA, but also Australia wide. With a history of over 25 years, it has seen some excellent racing under a variety of conditions. This year without a doubt, will be a spectacle.

There is a major change in the format this year, with the dropping of the Pro Classes and in place, we are offering cash prizes for all classes competing. We also have Channel 31 Adelaide filming all the finals, with footage to be shown a few weeks later.

With the 2009 SA Open State Titles being held by Barossa Go Kart Club and run at Bolivar on 27 - 29 November 2009, it's a great chance to get some practice under racing conditions, hence we have the finals to be held over 21 Laps.

With security at night and a BBQ dinner on the Saturday that can't be beaten but can be eaten, there's a chance to kick back and wind down before Finals Day on Sunday.

If you've never competed at the City of Adelaide Titles before, it's an excellent chance to have a crack at a Premier event at half the cost of a State Title meeting for a first timer, all the while honing your skills. Or if you just want to watch, we have three grandstands or the clubrooms, all with superb views of the entire track.

For the interstate karter and / or teams who have never been to Southern Go Kart Club, there is plenty of quality accommodation all within 5 - 20 minutes travel time and our track facilities are superb.
