Mount Gambier Set To Erupt For Junior Showdown

October 23rd, 24th & 25th are the dates set down for the running of the Junior Showdown 5 to be held at the Glenburnie Sprint Circuit Mount Gambier. 

Be quick as entries close this Friday 16th October.  Entry fee is only $60.00 for one first class but why not take advantage of a subsequent entry of $45.00 and make the weekend worth while. If your entry is post marked/received after this date then a late entry fee of $25.00 will apply. 

Classes for Midgets and Rookies and up to 5 classes for ‘Juniors’ will be an attraction in itself with … National Light, Pro, & Heavy, Clubman and Formula Junior Max all catered for providing sufficient entries are received.

Excellent Trophies & Prizes have been organised in all classes up to 5th place with a $100.00 fuel voucher for first place in each class.  New drivers will have the chance to be winners with a Trophy for the first “P” plater home in each class.  

Trackside action gets underway on Friday the 23rd at 10.30 am with Pit set-up and Practice until 5pm.  Entry confirmation and Scrutineering will be conducted from 3pm to 5pm on Friday or you will need to be at the track by 7 am Saturday.

Drivers and crew will be supplied with plenty of country hospitality as well as catering from the trackside canteen over the 3 days of the event.  The club is well know for running outstanding events at its popular track and has become a favorite place to return to for many competitors.

Karting action is also scheduled for the following weekend with the staging of a Twilight meeting on Saturday 31st and then 3rd Round of the Green Triangle Series on the following day, Sunday 1st November.
