After nearly 18 months without a circuit to call their own, the Wollongong Kart Racing Club begins a new chapter in their history of racing at the Wollongong City Raceway.

"Months of hard work has gone into preparing for this day and it finally arrives on Sunday the 14th February 2010" the club informed KartSportNews. "All Karters are welcome to compete in the listed events and we entrust that everyone will have a safe and happy day racing with us."

Entries will be taken at the Clubhouse and scrutineering will be conducted from the Race Office positioned next to the In shute, where the scales, first aid room, stewards room and race secretary will operate from.

The event caters for the usual Midget, Rookie, Jnr & Snr National, Clubman and TaG classes.
