New 150cc Kart Engine

250cc Superkart engine specialist, BRC Engineering, has produced a sprint kart engine. The karting1.co.uk website has labelled the motor a cross between Formula A and Super KF, plus steroids.

Interestingly, the engine is 150cc, water cooled, uses a power valve in the exhaust, but has no clutch and goes back to the 'old' direct-drive philosophy.
