Entry Fee Option for Rotax Superkart Nationals

press release

SKA has received reliable information that entry cost is a significant factor for NGB entrants for the 2010 Nationals.  In sympathy and recognition of this demographic of superkarters, SKA has reworked the budget and accounting for the Mallala NGB Nationals event.

SKA is pleased to announce that the Entry Fee for NGB Registered Entrants who lodge their Registration Deposit and SKA Membership fee by March 31st will be $300, however this is only possible under the following provisions;

  • there must be a minimum of 44 Registrations and Memberships received by March 31
  • event trophies or awards will need to be provided or sponsored by a third party
  • circuit garaging or pit bays would be at additional cost as per SKA event arrangements

SKA Membership of $50 is not included in the entry fee and must be paid with the Registration deposit of $200.  This amount is necessary and covers SKA event management costs, any limited promotion and affiliation costs.

NGB classes should be aware that SKA understands there is significant alternate car category interest in taking up Shannons Series positions.   The Shannons Nationals NGB SK category position is at risk of being replaced and unavailable in the future if because there is insufficient competitor support for the NGB Nationals SKA is forced to withdraw for the second year running.

The Mallala superkart grid density is 57 so all comers can be accomodated.  Full Refunds will apply to all competitors who lodge registrations and memberships if SKA is forced to abandon the NGB Nationals due to insufficient competitor support.

NGB superkarters will appreciate that SKA is doing all it can and has made a significant effort to ensure a viable Nationals can be conducted for these NGB classes.  This is done out of support and recognition of the factors affecting NGB superkarters and their clubs.  We encourage your support of this initiative to provide you with this major event.
