Dixon Wins In Rain, Hail or Shine

press release

DP Karts Rookie driver Jake Dixon has continued on his amazing start to the year winning Round 2 of the Victorian Country Series in Warrnambool.

In what could only be described as trying conditions with hail, strong winds, sunny periods and pouring rain, Dixon showed he can not only dominate in the dry but also the wet. After winning Race 1 in the dry he then came from the rear of the field in race 2 to come third. He then went on to win race 3 in a typical Warrnambool downpour on slicks in the wet.

“The Arrow 950 Chassis handles awesome in the wet and the DP Karts team set up the Kart perfect for the races” said a very happy Jake Dixon after the final.

The win firmly puts Dixon at the top of the points table for the Victorian Country series winning all 3 races in Round 1 at Horsham. After winning the Victorian Open, Begonia Titles and now 2 rounds of the Country Series, 2010 looks to be a great year for the young Arrow Pilot.

Dixon will be competing in the remainder of the Victorian Country Series, All-stars and Golden Power Series in Victoria. He will also be competing at State Titles in QLD, NSW, Tasmania and South Australia.
