The 2010 Saturday Night Kart Series continued recently at Wollongong City Raceway, near Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW, with the running of the third round and the racing action certainly didn’t disappointment.

Throughout the latest round of the Saturday Night Series resulted in plenty of exciting action amongst both the Junior and Senior classes.

In the Junior classes, Thomas Miotto claimed the final in the Rookies class ahead of Cody Gillis and Kieran Fairlis, while in the Midget class Benito Montalb proved too strong and defeated Kade Morris and Jacque Isarin. Ken Henry-Smith came out on top in the Junior Performance final and did so when he finished ahead of Jack Bennett and Dale Henry-Smith and in the Junior National class Jonathon Gauci was able to defeat Ryan Suter and Jordan Speechley in the final.

The Senior classes resulted in action aplenty and it saw wins in the final shared between Darryl Apps (Senior National) ahead of Daniel Slater and Steve Neil, Grant Gaffa (TAG Red Light) who defeated Aaron Cogger and Chad Horsley, Joe Ingegneri (Clubman Light) ahead of John McMaster and Alan Charlton, Dean Starling (Open Performance) who defeated Daniel Orsini and Michael Pesce, Shane Tate (TAG Red Super Heavy) ahead of Brett Banfield and Chris Horner-Donnelly, Glen Quinlan (TAG Over 50s) who defeated John Gill and Mike Horsley, and Rod Henry-Smith (Clubman Heavy) ahead of Daniel Eltoft and Mark Tate. Chad Horsley (TAG 100) and Leigh Wright (100cc Performance RESA) came out on top in their respective finals.   

The fourth round of the Saturday Night Series is to be fought out on Saturday night, May 29 back at Wollongong City Raceway.
