No less than 15 of the mighty 30 horsepower, 20,000rpm Reed or Rotary valve induction 100cc high performance engine machines will take to the newly surfaced 1,100m circuit at Ipswich, as part of the 2010 CIK Stars of Karting Series this weekend 7th to 9th May, 2010.

Nelson, a relative newcomer to the class, will have a real battle on his hands, as Toowoomba brothers Tyler and Matt Greenbury and V8 Ute star Ryal Harris try to wrestle away the 18yo Sports Management student’s command of the class in recent outings.

At the last F100 Open Performance meeting at the Ipswich venue, Nelson built a winning 5.029 second gap in a short 10 lap Final to take a convincing win from his rivals.  After seizing a motor in Heat 1 at that same meeting, he quickly bounced back to take a credible 3.648 second win from Scott Rogers in Heat 2 and a smaller 1.657 second win in Heat 3 over GP Racing Kart's Peter Richards.

Both Rogers and Richards will again be key competitors out to challenge Nelson, but they will be joined by the Mercer brothers and 10 others in the very strong entry list for this weekend’s racing.

F100 Class Entry list:
1. Tyler Greenbury
2. Matt Greenbury
3. Ryal Harris
4. Trent Mercer
