Message From Superkarts Australia

press release

SKA has received many member communications of support and endorsement for the Morgan Park final round event. In response we say we are simply proud to present our category at these high level race events.
The event at a new circuit was not without its challenges, but these were largely overcome by the passion of the people in our sport.  The important part is that it is now a memorable event because of the Racing.

SKA takes this opportunity to congratulate Darren Hossack on his fine win of The Australian Superkart Championship 250 International Class. We also mention the last minute correction to the Championship Points Score in relation to that class, and convey to Darren and Warren McIlveen our apologies and appreciation of the good spirit in which they handled that situation.

Equally, we also congratulate Martin Latta and Steven Tamasi on their fine efforts and outstanding performances in attaining their Australian Championships for their 250National and 125Gearbox classes respectively.

SKA would also convey our gratitude to our members for their support of the new SKA structure with its CAMS Delegation and Affiliation. Your directors are committed to continue the company's role in creating greater awareness of the category and opportunities to showcase our fine brand of exciting racing.

Competitors can be proud of their category conduct, where marshalling, racing and general conduct during the events has been positively commented on by other categories, event organisers, spectators and officials.

As we now take a breather and forward plan for 2011, we acknowledge the efforts of all people and groups who assisted Superkarts Australia and our members in events thus far in 2010. The unsung heroes of making the racing happen know who they are and do not seek individual praise, but SKA convey our heartfelt appreciation and thanks for a job well done and tremendous effort in every case.
