Daniel Erickson Supporter To Win Arrow Kart For $10

press release

Go-karting has always been known as low-budget motorsport, but one lucky Daniel Erickson supporter will be able to get rolling for pocket money – just $10!

That’s the price of a ticket in the latest Team Erickson members' raffle, which has a new Arrow Racing Karts rolling chassis valued at up to $4200 as the prize.

Entry is open to all Team Erickson members, but anyone who isn't a member needn't worry - a free 12-month basic membership comes with every raffle ticket!

(Team Erickson Gold Membership, which includes a quality polo short embroidered with the member’s name, is $150 for the first year and $100 for subsequent years.

Arrow Racing Karts will configure the raffle winner's chassis for Midget, Rookie, Junior or Senior class competition.

Erickson, a multiple junior State kart champion from 2002-06, has been setting USA racetracks alight in this year’s F2000 Championship Series with four pole positions (including two qualifying lap records), two race wins, four second places and two race lap records from eight race starts.

Recently re-appointed as an Australian Motor Sport Foundation International Rising Star, he lies third overall on corrected points in the highly competitive national 'development' openwheel championship despite skipping four mid-season rounds.

He has a mathematical chance of finishing second overall with two rounds remaining, at Mid Ohio in early-September, and is the leading rookie by a large margin.

A donation from the proceeds of the Team Erickson members’ Arrow go-kart prize draw will go to Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets Foundation.

Tickets for the Team Erickson members’ Arrow go-kart raffle can be bought by sending a cheque or money order to DE Motorsport, 535 Silverdale Road, Orangeville, NSW 2570.
