Newcastle's September Sprint & Enduro

Newcastle's Mt Sugarloaf circuit will be the venue for one of Prokart's major race meetings in 2010. NKA/Prokart, after a lot of work with the Newcastle Kart Racing Club, will run a sprint meeting on Saturday September 11, with the 7th round of the NSW Endurance Series (a 7-hour race) on Sunday the 12th.

For the Saturday event, Prokart will allow anyone who holds a current valid AKA competition licence to compete for just the cost of race entry. Every other competitor must have a valid Prokart Race Licence.

Practice is available on Friday the 10th for both AKA and NKA/Prokart Licence holders. The cost will be $40 per kart and practice will be for all classes that run in the Saturday night series at Wollongong City Raceway as well as Prokart Endurance karts that wish to practice before Sunday's 7-hour.

Saturdays Sprint meeting will be $85 entry for those who pre-enter or $95 entry on the day.

Classes competing on the Saturday will be:

*Midgets and Rookies
*Junior National Light
*Junior Performance/Junior Clubman
*Senior National 150kg
*Clubman Light & Heavy
*Tag 100 (restricted) 170kg, Tag Super Heavy and Tag Over 50's
*Tag Red Light
*Tag Red Heavy
*Open Performance
