A1 Engines Junior Drivers Todd Hazelwood (Junior National Heavy) Thomas Bennett (Midgets) and James Golding (Junior National Light) competed in the City Of Melbourne Titles meeting recently.

Todd Hazelwood Qualified 14th after a spin but dominated in the heats finishing 2nd & 3rd. The Pre Final saw him finish 2nd starting on position 2 for the final. In trying conditions in the Final after having a bad start Todd managed to drive his way to the front and claim his victory in the Junior National Heavy Class.

Thomas Bennett Qualified 5th and managed to secure a 5th & a 3rd in the heats. Thomas drove a very solid Pre Final finishing in 3rd position starting him on position 3 for the final. Thomas showed the field he can drive in the wet claiming his victory by a staggering 13 seconds in the Midget Class.

James Golding Qualified 3rd and secure a 4th and 2nd position in the heats. For the Pre Final James showed his dominance in the wet starting from position 3 and blitzing the field finishing well in front to start him in position 1 for the Final. In the final the conditions were still wet and James reigned supreme claiming his victory in the Junior National Light class.

Other A1 Drivers to do well was Reece Sidebottom this being his first meeting moving up from Midgets to Rookies. Reece Qualified on Pole and claimed victory in both heats and the Pre Final.

Simon Hodge Qualified Pole in Junior Clubman.

Dylan Howell finished a solid  5th in the Rookies Class and Luke Walker finished steadily in 4th position in the Junior National Heavy class.

Well done to all the A1 Drivers who competed at the City Of Melbourne Titles in the trying conditions.
