press release

Whilst Saturday practise was in trying conditions raining in the morning and mainly fine in the afternoon, we all woke to dry conditions for Sunday Race Day. Drizzle played havoc in quite a few of the races but that just brought the best out of the drivers!

In Clubman Super Heavy Martin Golledge had a mixed day; Martin had a DNF in heat 2 which forced him to start 9th in the final. Martin showed he got the set up right for the final, starting 9th and finishing 3rd.

In Senior National Light Ash Quiddington finished in a comfortable 2nd overall for the weekend.

For the Rookies Rhys Wooley and Dylan Howell were fighting out between themselves who was going to secure 3rd position overall for the weekend. After the final it was Dylan who finished 3rd, but overall for the weekend it was Rhys who claimed 3rd position with Dylan finishing 4th. Mitchell Quiddington and Josh Munn had consistent weekend’s finishing 5th and 6th overall.

For the Junior National Heavy final Todd Hazelwood started 2nd in the final and Luke Walker started 4th. Unfortunately Luke had a DNF on the first corner but still managed to secure a 5th overall position for the weekend whilst Todd Hazelwood secured a 2nd position overall for the weekend.
