Stampede To Close Speedway Championshippress release This Sunday the 21st November at the superb Nepean Motorsport complex, the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club will be conducting the 6th annual Stampede meeting which is the last Championship meeting of 2010 . After 10 long months and 7 rounds of racing this is the last meeting of the 20th Anniversary season for the club and will be the final opportunity for drivers to accumulate as many points as possible to go towards their season tally . The aim of this weekend for drivers will be to simply finish races and with full fields of karts expected in each class the racing will be at a premium as we get closer to the 2010 champions being crowned . Then once this meeting is complete the clubs last function of the year will be the end of season gala presentation dinner which will see all the class champions crowned and of course the naming of the 20th Club Champion. The night is being used as an opportunity for past members to reunite and relive old times while celebrating the current. A very special 20 year tribute to the club is being edited and will be one of the many highlights of the night . But before we get to that however the dust has to settle on the season, and if you are a speedway fan and want to see some grass roots action be at Nepean on Sunday . Nepean motorsport complex on Rickards Roads, Castlereagh. Racing starts at 10am and the 28 events are scheduled to finish about 3pm. Entry is $5 per adult.
