Gear Up for Junior Top Guns

The 2010 season is not quite over, but already junior karters and their parents are preparing for the traditonal season opener at Oakleigh - the annual Junior Top Guns.

Held over two rounds in January, the twin events are held on Friday nights under lights (14th and 21st Jan). Due to the school holidays, the meeting regularly gets a large number of interstate competitors to rival the locals.

The one-day events will follow this timetable:

Unofficial Practice                 12 pm –  4.00 pm                                          
Drivers Briefing                      4.30 pm -4.45 pm
Timed Practice                     5.00 pm
Racing starts                         At the conclusion of timed practice.   

Competitors who enter both rounds of Junior Top Guns will be eligible for a random prize draw for an Arrow rolling chassis.  Competitors must enter both rounds and must be present at the prize draw to win.

Each round will present 1st,  2nd,  3rd,  4th  & 5th  trophies for each class.

 $725  prize money per class for total points over the 2 rounds
1st $300,  2nd $200,  3rd $100,  4th $75, 5th $50
