The youngster’s finish in the Formula JMA category was a spectacular one.  He had recaptured second place with two corners remaining before he had a coming together with another competitor in the main straight which sent Burton-Harris into a spin and he crossed the line backwards while claiming the final spot on the podium.

Courtesy of his results Burton-Harris has now set his sights on the Pro Junior (KF3) category in the 2011 CIK Stars of Karting Series where he will compete under the Parramatta Kart Warehouse umbrella.

"I’m delighted with my result in South Australia," said Burton-Harris.

"My Dad gave me some goals to achieve and I have managed to do it but not without the help of a few very important people such as my parents, grandfather, Ian Baker and the entire Parramatta Kart Warehouse team.”

“I’ve now got my sights set on mixing it with the best drivers in the country next year in the CIK Stars of Karting Series and can’t wait to get out there at Ipswich for the opening round in February.”

Burton-Harris is awaiting his new chassis and in order for him to begin testing prior to Christmas to begin his assault on the Pro Junior (KF3) title where he will be battling with the likes of Pierce Lehane, Jake Coleman, Mitchell Gee and Jake Klarich.
