The ‘Eastern Creek 9 Hour’ is going to be fought out around the 1.7km Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway circuit and race itself is going to start at 11pm on Saturday night and finish at 8am on Sunday which is certainly going to provide plenty of challenges to all the competitors and their teams.

With the absence of defending National and NSW Champions - Jets Motorsport, this year looks set to wide open in terms of the competition within both the National and New South Wales Championship and with the likes of Horsepower Racing, Team Kaos, Bell Pipes Racing, Walkos Racing, defending Queensland Champion PDS Grand Prix, Team 5150R, Phantom Racing, BF Racing and co all aiming to be front running contenders it’s going to produce plenty of excitement both on the track and also in pit lane.

The journey of 9 continuous hours around the Eastern Creek circuit is certainly going to test out the teams and those that come away from the ‘Eastern Creek 9 Hour’ with a solid result are going to be in good shape for the remainder of the year as they chase success in the respective National and NSW Championships.

Each team contesting the ‘Eastern Creek 9 Hour’ has between two and three drivers per team and throughout the race they are required to make numerous pit stops for things such as; driver changes, fuel, tyre changes and repairs. Endurance Karting is one of the most exciting and tactical forms of Motorsport and certainly around the technical Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway circuit anything can happen. The winners within Endurance Karting are necessarily not always the fastest out on the circuit, but consistency a lot of the time can sometimes conquer all in the end.

Practice and qualifying sessions begin from 9pm and the ‘Eastern Creek 9 Hour’ race itself is scheduled to start at 11pm and finish at 8am on Sunday morning.
