Winter Cup: Brilliant Performance by Energy in KF3
Already during free practice, the Energy Corse team knew that it had worked in the right direction during winter. Its drivers reached immediately the lead places and repeated their brilliant performances during the race. In KZ2, despite the presence of most of the best drivers in the world, Joël Johansson and Paolo De Conto conquered the first two places after the qualifying heats. The rain came to disrupt the event on Sunday. Caught in the scrimmage at the start, De Conto managed to go up to 5th, two places ahead of Johansson. In KF3, Energy colours were shining bright on the podium. Dennis Olsen passed the finish line with an advantage of over 3 seconds on his immediate pursuer, while his team mate - and winner of the pre-final - concluded third!

Despite the constantly changing weather conditions, Paolo De Conto staged an impressive performance in KZ1. After conquering the pole position and finishing second on a wet track on Saturday, the 2010 European champion won all three Sunday's races on a dry track, including a brilliant victory in the final. And now he is the leader of the championship! In KF3, instead, Robin Hansson was the big loser of the day. He won two heats, but was forced to retire during the pre-final. He concluded in twelfth position after recovering as many 21 places! Unable to find a way through at the start, Dennis Olsen had to content himself with a seventh place. And in KF2, Sami Luka never left the top positions during the weekend and ended fourth, just a few lengths away from the podium.

60 Mini: A Bright Future Ahead of Them
Five drivers raced on Energy chassis in the 60 Mini category: Nikita Alexandrov (RUS), Lorenzo Travasanutto (ITA), Isac Valtonen (SWE), Giuliano Raucci (BRA) and Anton Haaga (SWE) from GRT Karting Team. "We have offered many drivers the opportunity to win in KF and KZ, but it is also very interesting to keep focus on younger drivers. Energy will do everything it can to give them a chance to emerge. This race has already given us a an opportunity to show how fast our chassis is", said Alberto Tonti from Energy team.

New Structure
In addition to the technical competences of Energy Corse Team, Michele Panigada's structure attaches great importance to the presentation and image of karting it conveys during events. Therefore, it has taken advantage of the Winter Cup to inaugurate a new and modern motor-home designed to create the best possible conditions for its drivers in 2011. This structure comes with a new decoration on chassis bodyworks.

We are competitive in every category, from 60 Mini to KZ, and this proves that our efforts to enhance our technical potential last winter have been successful. I would also like to thank our engine-tune up specialits for their hard work. GKS' TMs in KF as well as Rizzi's in KZ are highly competitive!"
