Speedway Karts At Penrith Truck Show

The Coghlan Oval Track Racing Team (COTR) are leaders when it comes to the promotion and presentation of their family based speedway kart team both on and off the track.
Members of the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club, the team can be seen at every race meeting conducted by the club and always present themselves superbly with one of the best looking teams in the pits.
Again this week the team will be out in the public displaying and giving their team sponsors value for money as well as promoting the NSWSKC at the annual Penrith Working Truck Show this Sunday 27th March.
The Working Truck Show is promoted as Australia’s best value family day out and is a nice fit with the family based Coghlan team as well as the NSWSKC, the club where families come to have fun.
In its 24th year, the Penrith Working Truck Show is one of the districts yearly highlights attracting large numbers of local people as well as many from outside the district.
With a predicted 30,000 people coming to the show we believe it will give the club a very good opportunity to firstly let the community know that speedway’s best keep secret is right in their back yard and it will also allow us to promote our up coming Australian Title.
The Coghlan Team will have 3 beautifully presented karts on display all freshly prepared with a brand new design for 2011.
Joining the Coghlan team and representing the club will be club president Wayne Baines and other club members along with some of the member’s karts which will also be on display.
The truck show is a great family day out with lots rides and fun for the children and plenty of big rigs for dads to salivate over and to top the afternoon off some great country music.
It is well worth the effort if you are looking for something to do Sunday. It is on at the Museum of Fire located at Penrith.
