"Giddy Up" Ready For Bolivar CIK

press release

After a fantastic start to this years series, CIK Stars of Karting debutant Ipswich’s Scott Auld, who claimed a shock pole position in qualifying and finished fourth for the round in the premier Pro Gearbox KZ2 category, piloting his VetQuip, turn1 motorsport, G developments, Pacific kartsport backed MS Kart, is looking to build on his great start with an even better result in Round 2 at Adelaide's iconic Bolivar raceway this weekend.

“After seeing the series from the sidelines last year I really got the karting bug again and I really enjoyed Round 1 at my home track".

"We qualified pole, but in the racing our chassis was coming on too late in the races, we set fastest lap in the finals, but i ran out of laps to catch the leader" Said Auld

“At round 1 the professionalism of the series really took off, it's taking the sport of karting to the next level and it’s going to be on for young and old in round two with everyone out to get that great prize at the end of the series"

“The last time i drove at Bolivar was the in "Ford KartStars" series back in 2002, where i also had the benefit of having Gerry Brookes from turn1 as my engineer and mentor, we did very well then and i'm confident that we can do the same this weekend"
