Power Series, Round 3 - Bendigo
news from Bendigo round of the Power series
People started to arrive Friday to set up pit spots with the help of Craig Arnett. The track & surrounds looked a picture which is a credit to the Bendigo members.
A large entry of 227 karters really made for a great weekend. Practice started Saturday on a damp track due to over night rain, then racing started with a fast drying surface. Two heats were run on Saturday, which finished at 4.15 pm.
Racing on Sunday after the carby session was very good to witness with the grid lady, Rosemary, having the karters on the ball for their 3rd heat.
Entering the finals we saw some very good racing with some drivers putting on some big efforts coming from near the rear of grid. Racing finsihed at 3.45pm.
